Part of the fun when cruising is staying overnight either on a mooring or at anchor and going ashore by dinghy. The ASA 116, Dinghy and Outboard Endorsement course covers all aspects of how to safely and efficiently operate a dinghy with an outboard motor.
This course is one full day (6 to 7 hours) on the water.
Prerequisites:
ASA 101, Keelboat 1

- Towing
- Dinghy & outboard engine hoisting, storage, transit and deploying
- How to "land" a dinghy at a beach

- Docking a cruising yacht with a dinghy in tow
- Care & maintenance
- The ASA 116, Dinghy and Outboard Endorsement course is one day.
